The LGBTQ Pride Center is committed to pursuing high-impact resources and programming for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

In giving to the Pride Center, you will be helping us with being able to bring in renowned LGBTQ speakers, providing students with the opportunities to participates in local and national conferences, and funding for alumni gatherings.

The LGBTQ Pride Center is committed to providing resources and pursuing the personal and professional development of our students, faculty and staff. In giving to the Pride Center, you are helping us cultivate community, create leadership opportunities and support for students, provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the entire campus community and allow for networking and development amongst faculty and staff.

Spitz Dream NC State LGBTQ Pride Center Endowment

In 2020, William “Bill” Spitz, a long-time friend of NC State, reached out to the LGBTQ Center to find out how he could support members of the LGBTQ community during their time at NC State. When he was told that many LGBTQ-identified students encounter the loss of familial financial support because of those identities, Bill Spitz took immediate action to create the Spitz Dream NC State LGBTQ Center Endowment.

Distributions from the Endowment will provide emergency aid to LGBTQ-identified students and can be used toward expenses such as, but not limited to, health insurance, tuition, transportation, food, and housing.
