Get Involved on Campus
One of the main functions of the NC State LGBTQ Pride Center is to help LGBTQ and Allied individuals connect and form community. The staff of the Center provides a conduit to various student organizations, coordinates a network for faculty and staff, and keeps alumni engaged and aware of what’s happening on campus. Aces and Aros
Aces and Aros is a club serving the needs of students who are questioning, who identify as members of the asexual and/or aromantic communities and their allies at NC State. Interested in joining? Meetings for A-Spec and questioning people to share their experiences and meet their community are held bi-weekly on Sunday from 1 pm – 2:30 pm in the Pride Center or visit Get Involved for contact information.
Bi/Pan
The purpose of this student organization serves the needs of students who identify along the bisexual/pansexual and biromantic/panromantic spectra and their allies. Bi/Pan provides a safe space for bisexual, pansexual, flexible, queer, curious, or questioning students to feel affirmed, address challenges and build community through networking and solidarity via topic-led discussions and sharing experiences among other students with similar identities. Pride Alliance
Pride Alliance is NC State University’s student group dedicated to promoting equality and unity for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Questioning, and Straight Ally students, faculty, and staff on our campus and in our community. Our goal is to be supportive and proactive via educational and social events for our diverse campus body. The group is a safe and supportive space for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, cultural backgrounds, life stages, and beliefs. Interested in joining? Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet is a student-run organization serving the needs of sapphic individuals at NC State. Our objective is to create a community for sapphic and questioning students through fun activities, events, and the occasional discussion. Check our calendar for meeting details. oSTEM
Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM) is a professional and social organization for LGBTQ+ students and allies in STEM fields. Various meeting topics, events, and programming focus on aspects of professional development and support as well as community building for LGBTQ+ students and allies in STEM majors and entering into STEM fields. QTBIPOC
QTBIPOC (Queer, Transgender, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) centers the lived experiences of Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian American, Native American, multi-racial, and communities of color who identify as LGBTQIA+. QTBIPOC provides a space for students to share their experiences, discuss how their racial/ethnic and LGBTQ identities influence each other and connect with other students who are navigating multiple communities and what that can mean in terms of feeling welcome, accepted, and included.

T-Files
The mission of T-Files is to provide a space for transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender questioning students to affirm and affirm their identities, build community, and create a welcoming environment at NC State. Participating students will be able to share their experiences, foster positive relationships, and become advocates for one another’s safety, health, and well-being. AthletiQ
The mission of AthletiQ is an organization that aims to create a space for students in the LGBTQIA+ community interested in athletics. It’s meant to bring student-athletes and the regular student body together and grow as a community. Meetings vary in the Pride Center Lounge. Interested in joining? he LGBTQ Pride Center is dedicated to offering continuous support for graduate and professional students, faculty, and staff on campus. As part of our mission, we coordinate The Network—a program designed to foster connection, build community, and offer support to LGBTQ individuals. To join The Network, please complete the form. Alumni
The LGBTQ Pride Center is dedicated to re-engaging with NC State’s LGBTQ alumni community. Our goal is to foster connections between current students and potential mentors in their respective fields, identify alumni speakers for our annual Lavender Graduation, gather valuable contributions for the LGBTQ History @ NCSU Archive, and keep former students informed about the exciting developments and accomplishments of our Center and its students.
