Mission, Vision and Values
Mission
The NC State Pride Center is open to all students and celebrates and empowers our collective communities to increase student success and well-being. Through culturally relevant programming, we cultivate joy, foster belonging, and build community in the promotion of academic and personal excellence.
Vision
Our vision is to serve as a welcoming and accountable space that connects students to resources and community, designed to enhance their leadership development and opportunities to thrive.
Community Agreements
Our Community
As center staff, we agree to and lift up these statements within our daily work and our commitment to creating and cultivating communal spaces. We lift up human liberation, where we practice and promote wellbeing, honoring the needs and experiences of our diverse communities. We lift up a community where we are able to live, play and thrive.
Challenge yourself
As a community we are committed to creating and cultivating a healthy, accountable, open space, honoring all who enter and leave.
Privacy
As a community, we are committed to protecting the rights of others, learning and growing together while encouraging the sharing of only helpful information beyond our Center.
Respect
As a community we believe in the respect of each other at all times, encouraging healthy connections that may call each other in or out, while centering kindness and giving grace.
Speak from your own experience
As individuals who are a part of many communities, we recognize our center and our institution are not monoliths, and our individual or collective views are not necessarily the views of the community as a whole.
Self-care
As a community, we center the health and well-being of all community members and we encourage you to center your own wellness while honoring and respecting the needs of others.

Annual Reports
From advising student organizations to hosting events that engage the campus community in conversations about identity and social justice, the LGBTQ Pride Center works throughout the year to fulfill our mission, vision and goals. Not only is our work intentional, but so is our desire to be transparent about what we are trying to do and the impact we are having. Each year we complete annual reports that outline all of our programs and services as well as our assessment of how effectively we are meeting our intended outcomes. Information for 2024-2025 will be posted in the summer of 2025.
