Trans Awareness Week
The Pride Center hosts Trans Awareness Week in November in order to bring attention to the experiences of the transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming communities. This week of events includes opportunities to learn and build community. The impetus for this week of events is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a global, annual observance on November 20th for transgender individuals whose lives were lost over the past year.
